Growing up I used to play golf with my parents in Aberdeen and on one of the golf groups they were in (Pecten or Wanderers, or maybe both) so had the pleasure of Tom’s company on the golf course many times. He always saw the funny side of any situation and with his infectious humour could make any rain soaked round seem like a thoroughly enjoyable outing. I was very sad to hear of Tom’s passing, but I’m sure he lived a full life and leaves behind many lifelong friends who will remember him fondly.
